Loyola Academy recognizes the valuable role that the Monsanto Fund has played in our students' education. By providing a state-of-the-art science lab and a certified teaching position for the science department, the Monsanto Fund has been vital in the continuing education and formation of our young men.

Saint Louis University Men's Basketball Program Hosts Loyola Academy

At the SLU Men's Basketball game vs. Duquesne on Saturday the 27th of February, the University hosted the Loyola Academy 6th Grade basketball teams for an evening of fun on and off the court. Prior to the game, the boys were welcomed onto the court to participate in organized basketball activities with players from other CYC teams. Soon everyone enjoyed a SLU win over Duquesne. The students had a wonderful time (as did the faculty).

What's Happening At Loyola Academy?

As we start off a new year and a new semester, there are many fun and exciting things happening at Loyola Academy. We have welcomed 6 new students, as well as several new Encore Classes, including Chinese Class and a Leadership Class. Check out some of the attached photos! The first picture to the left shows Sean Powers, SJ, a Jesuit scholastic studying at SLU, who tutors one of our sixth graders after school. The second picture shows Principle and President Eric Clark, Service Coordinator, Erin Marsh, and teacher Alice Reese, along with some of the Loyola Men at a "Service Saturday" project at Community Women Against Hardship. The third picture shows some of our 7th Graders showing their love of math!
